NBA Ikeja Holds Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture, 15th Of January, 2019

The Planning Committee of the Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture, NBA Ikeja has announced that the Annual Lecture for the year 2018 will hold on the 15th day of January 2019.

The Committee is, therefore, calling for all lovers of the late Human Rights Activist to attend the lecture.

In a statement by the  Chair Planning Committee, Mr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi represents many things to so many persons.

“For us in Ikeja Branch of the NBA, he was epitome of hard work, integrity, and an erudite advocate. He died with his good name and reputation intact.

“We in Ikeja NBA have promise to continue to remember him until the end of the world.

Come 15th of January, 2019 all members and lovers of Late Gani will gather at Airport Hotel, Ikeja by 10 am to celebrate him and what he stood for.

The Chairperson of the occasion shall be Hon Justice Amina Augie of the Supreme Court of Nigeria while the Guest Speaker shall be Professor Akin Oyebode, former Vice Chancellor of University of Ado Ekiti.

As election draws nearer, the theme for dissection is “SECURING THE INDEPENDENCE OF INEC – A PANACEA TO A FREE, FAIR AND CREDIBLE ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA”.

It shall be a gathering of lawyers, activists, politicians, business class, Royal institution and students. Every LOVER OF GANI AND NIGERIA ARE INVITED!
